I see plenty of young psions around, they are just not active here. They can usually ask their questions and get Chuck Norris free answers in mind chat so their need is not as high as other classes. I wonder if the trolls on the main boards will post a "only 10 psions left in the world and nobody cares" flamefest because of your post lol.

Hey there,

I still lurk around. I went on a 2 week vacation and have been having a very hard time getting back into the game. I'm really not sure what it is, but my friends and I just can't find the motivation to play. We've even been throwing around the idea of going back to everquest (a fun step back 7 years).

I play because I enjoy raiding and the company of my guild. The game is WAY WAY overdue for another high level dungeon. If you have not given it a try already raids may (or may not) rekindle your enjoyment of the game. While they may not raid the dragon yet, there is a group of public raiders on xeth. The guys who run the raids seem with it, and in my opinion the way they run their loot rewards is fair for a pug. One thing to keep in mind is until they reach the library the fights are mostly old school tank and spank deals.

I do my time in g4, but so does everyone else in my guild except our bards. We have 3 psions (with 90% plus attendance) all of whom get play time. there is a HUGE difference between the way different high end guild operate though so I will not for a moment assume that this is the norm. I know a lot of guilds that only keep one high attendance psion in there ranks and I understand why they would do so and given half a chance will try make us more desirable in raids.

Registered myself today, been lurking around now and then, but yeah not much to talk about when we dont know when we will get any changes and nothing concrete that may be changed so
As far as raiding goes except for a couple nameds most other classes can do our job just as well or better, i even sometimes feel kinda bad to take loot since it pretty much doesnt add nothing to the raid to show for lol, but im hanging there waiting for the revamp and psis start to be harder and harder to find lol and those bards are a bunch of crackheads so i gota provide them with the stuff lol

I have a hard time browsing forums when the content is mostly inflammatory and negative. That's why I avoid general forum browsing and stick to dev trackers.

I get enough abrasive personalities at work, it would be nice to spend my free time away from the rants. I'm sure you all understand. I'd rate this site as "average" with it's blend of love/hate. Needless to say, this is the ONLY dedicated psionicist website out there. So like it or not, if you have a PSI specific question you still have a better chance finding an answer here than elsewhere.

But I do agree, I think these forums are rather quiet. There is usually only 2 or 3 fairly active threads. I can't say for certain why that is though. I've run the numbers on vgplayers and psionicist is NOT the least-played class. We're on the bottom of the list, yes, but not the very bottom.

I bet when our damage output makes people jealous, and our other abilities start humming along like they should, we'll be more warmly recieved by the community.

I'm tired of being out DPS'ed by war clerics who are doing 2-3 times more damage than me in a raid. Aren't you?

Well guys I'll be seeing you around. Let my sub drop last week, I'll be watching and hoping that some of my suggestions over the last year or so will prove to be of some assistance to Brah and Dark as they work to improve the class. I just dont see myself paying for this game anymore until my favored class is fixed in a remarkable way. Might see you after GU5, have fun PSI's of Telon.

Im still here and read the forums but my enthusiasm regarding the PSI class has come and gone. When you have been asking for changes and revamp for a year now and still not gotten it you start finding enjoyment elsewhere. Which is how I feel about the war and monk classes. Hopefully with the revamp Ill be able to dust off my PSI once again.

I've also been reading here from time to time.

I too levelled my PSI from prerelease for raiding and level capped in adv and as a tailor in a few months. I've always enjoyed the class and have not found anything in the class' history to be game breaking with the exception of some raid centric topics being tossed around at the moment.

I didnt realise a lot was going on here on vgpsi to be honest.

The few times I checked in I read the most recent updated threads and found topics of low consequence being discussed which I didnt have anything new to contribute to.

I'm told now that much of what I've been interested in lately has been discussed in the past so I can only guess that it has been my timing for visits here that sucked.

Anyway, with gu5 coming there are certainly things to talk about. My only regret is that I didnt notice what else was being discussed about this earlier.

I've also been talking with raiding (and other) psis on xeth from time to time. Most of whom weren't aware of what was being discussed here atm re gu5.

Perhaps you will see some renewed interest in the forums. I hope so.

I have had one or two people imply in response to my posts that because I was not posting on the board in past discussions that I have less right to post about what is on my mind regarding my class.

I believe it is more of value that I have played this class since prerelease and am intimately aware of it's strengths and weaknesses and changes over time as is the case for other people who visit here.

I hope other people joining the discussion feel uninhibited to contribute, especially people who are experienced with the class.

Well, I haven't been on since AoC came out. There doesn't seem to be a lot of posting here either. Who all is left? Have I missed anything? I sure wish I could have gotten my pegusi, but oh well.
