Weakness damage and effects?

I have a spreadsheet that breaks down all the weaknesses by classes/abilities that created and exploit them.

But does exploiting a weakness do anything besides additional damage?
I was thinking that there were effects like snare, stun, etc on some of them, but perhaps I am just inferring that from the name of the weakness.

Does anyone know how the additional damage is calculated? Is it a percentage of the damage of the spell, or maybe crit damage?
